The University of the Basque Country – Spain

The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is a teaching and research institution officially founded in 1980.
The university employs over 7.500 people in 31 faculties and schools distributed in three different campuses, with more than 57.000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The UPV/EHU offers the highest number of doctorate programmes of all Spanish universities, one third of which have received a mention of excellence from the Spanish Ministry of Education.
The UPV/EHU has been recognised as an International Research Campus of Excellence by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN), and in 2021 was awarded the HRS4R award by the European Commission for human resources excellence in research.
Since the first European Research Framework Programmes, the UPV/EHU has been very active and has participated in a wide variety of collaborative projects.

RESET – Cyprus

With over 20 years of combined experience in research and education, RESET (Research and Education in Social Empowerment and Transformation) develops constructive and education-centred solutions to the most demanding societal challenges of our time. RESET invests on the creation, evolution, and revolution of social-driven concepts, systems and practices which prioritize humanity. RESET accelerates and amplifies positive local, national, regional and global change through the power of research and education. We utilize innovative tools to identify constructive solutions to social challenges. One of these is the use of transformative dialogue to develop and promote tolerance, gender equality, religious and cultural diversity acceptance, critical thinking and social integration. RESET creates and develops tailored education to schools such as social integration, prevention of radicalization, addiction, social and creative empowerment and conflict resolution.

PANEPISTIMIO THESSALIAS – Greece

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Thessaly (UTH) is a well-known institute for higher education in Greece. ​The Networks and Telecommunications laboratory focuses its activities in the areas of wireless networks, mobile communications, security of telecommunications and applications and services. ​The lab members’ research profiles show a complementary background expertise in different areas in networking, including wireless networks and protocols, signal processing, distributed computing, sensors, video and media transmission, network security and energy-efficient networking. ​

STIMMULI FOR SOCIAL CHANGE – Greece

STIMMULI FOR SOCIAL CHANGE works on projects focused on social impact envisioning to inspire future education and ignite positive change in society. To achieve our mission, we design and deliver educational and empowerment projects that cultivate changemaking attitudes, inject entrepreneurial thinking and nudge behavioural shifts for more sustainable lifestyles.
STIMMULI bears extensive experience in different fields of activity, including that of Social Innovation Education, Entrepreneurship Education, Active Citizenship Education, Inclusive Education and sustainable development as well as gender focused projects aiming at empowering women, whereby new approaches and effective practices and tools are being developed and designed. Our work aims at harnessing the power of collaboration between universities, nonprofits, social enterprises, businesses and governments, to address pressing societal challenges more effectively and on a wider scale. The projects and practices delivered by Stimmuli are underlined by creative and participatory methodologies and aim at fostering the adoption and incorporation of 21st century pedagogies in formal and non-formal educational settings.

UNIVERSITY OF CYPRUS – Cyprus

The University of Cyprus participates in FEMSTEM Project through the Software Engineering and Internet Technologies (SEIT) Laboratory, an integral part of the Department of Computer Science. SEIT focuses its research activities on two important areas of Information Technology, namely Software Engineering and Internet Technologies. In the second area, the Laboratory concentrates on the development of ICT-enabled Creativity and Enhanced Learning Environments, platforms and tools for implementing Health monitoring and support services, Smart and Personalised services for Elders and Assistive Technologies for people with disabilities. SEIT has extensive experience in the area of applying ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) to e-Learning, m-Learning and Open and Distance Learning in general as well as Life Long Learning in particular. This expertise is both at a technical level and at developing policies and qualification frameworks for such activities. Regarding only the Erasmus+ related themes, SEIT has recently coordinated four Erasmus+ projects (VeLoCiTy, World-of-Physics, DiFens, IDEA) and currently coordinates one Erasmus+ project: wINGS (begun in 2018), and also participates in 14 more: EASIER, EPUM, ELSE, AT-SGIRES, SENSE, WINDEXT, Dig-It, ISSA, ICT-4TVET, TOOLS, PRIMAE, QHELP, Digi-Sporting and Job-Jo. SEIT has also participated in 13 Leonardo da Vinci projects, 3 EUMEDIS projects, 2 FP (Framework Programs), 1 INCO-DC and 3 projects funded by national funds. It has also participated in the EMUNI project and the VUSCC initiative, both related to policymaking or reform and qualifications accreditation, as well as in the Interreg IVC project Innofun, on developing policies for entrepreneurship and innovation. SEIT is currently participating in two AAL projects: eSticky, and GUIDed, and in one national project: ReaDI-STANCE.

VYTAUTO DIDZIOJO UNIVERSITETAS – Lithuania

Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is a classical (comprehensive) university with 15 faculties, 5 Research Institutes, Botanical Garden. VMU also has
Education Academy, STEAM Didactics Center, gifted children’s education center “Gifted”, Academia Cum Laude, Baltic Summer University,
and 9 public institutions, founded by VMU. The University is a member of European Universities Association, Transform4Europe universities consorcium
which consist of 11 universities. The number of academics staff is 790, the number of non-academics staff is 800, and the number of students is about 8700.
VMU provides 92 bachelor level, 78 master level and 23 PhD level study programs. VMU has an extensive partnership network with about 400 research institutions
from around the world, carries out international projects, exchanges students and staff, and is a leader in the Baltic States in terms of the internationalization of teachers.
Approximatelly 900 international students are studing in VMU.

Asociación Valencia Inno Hub – Spain

Valencia Inno Hub (Innohub) is a Spanish non-profit organization born with the objective of putting together talent, technology, as well as personal and professional development. It aims is to go through actions supporting an innovative and technology creation environment, together with a special focus on disadvantaged society groups and their economic and social inclusion.
Innohub believes in the necessity of change in the economic model in order to create a more competitive and value-adding economy, facilitating the necessary tools for our companies and individuals.By mentoring and training Innohub supports entrepreneurs, Start-Ups and individuals from disadvantage groups facing different factors of exclusion: youngsters and adults with educational difficulties, by empowering them and building their entrepreneurial and self-employment skills. The association collaborates with many partners throughout Europe in the development of international and local projects with an international character.
